High Park

This project is the High Park Special Unit in Prince Edward, Kowloon, themed around "Simplicity, Color, and Dynamism". The designer integrated diverse lines, layered lighting and materials—including artistic paint, natural stone, wood, fabric and metal—to craft a practical, aesthetic residence. Covering about 1,300 sq. ft., the unit originally had four bedrooms, a long living-dining room, an open kitchen and a sky garden. To address narrow rooms, the designer reconfigured the space to unlock the special unit’s potential.

The living-dining room is the highlight, with bright yellow wall cabinets and artistic sofa-back paint forming a visual focal point that embodies the "Color and Dynamism" core. High ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass flood the space with natural light and open views. Solid wood furniture adds warmth, paired with Italian-style sofas, shell-top coffee tables and linear fixtures to balance simplicity and vibrancy, highlighting the special unit’s design style.

The master bedroom focuses on elegance; two original bedrooms were merged into a space with a bedroom, walk-in closet and study. Fabric wall decorations (for warmth and sound absorption) and 3D wall coverings (for 3D visual appeal) echo the living room’s feature wall. The closet, with technical wood veneer and rose gold details, plus an Italian marble desk, elevates the special unit’s high-end vibe.

The kids’ room, based on black, white and gray, also combines two bedrooms. Stylish colors, a personalized bed head and linear storage cater to young tastes, enriching the special unit’s design. The kitchen and three bathrooms retain the developer’s setup for environmental protection. The sky garden, with outdoor wood flooring, furniture, a heater and barbecue, lets residents enjoy quiet leisure in the city, enhancing the special unit’s livability.
